Empty apartments, neatly stacked cot bags, appliances and sleeping bags tucked away in a warehouse, and hearts stuffed full of rich memories marks the end of Harvest 2011. The harvesters have returned home with a whole new family of friends from around the world. The camaraderie and sense of fulfillment in participating in modern day prophecy makes regular life pale in comparison. The God of creation has called us to cooperate with Him in re-establishing His people in His Land. We have seen the prophecies confirmed vine after vine in the Mountains of Samaria.

304 tons or grapes picked!! Bible believers learn line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little. Laot, Laot in hebrew. Vinedressers learn ton upon ton, here a lot, there a lot!! Don’t get the wrong idea, it is far from drudgery! You would think we were playing from all the laughter and music coming from the vineyards. Lorrie from Virginia, USA quoted her father often saying, “When you love what you do, you’ll never work another day in your life!”. We certainly LOVE what we do.

The Spring Pruning is coming quickly! If you are drawn to bless the Lord by blessing His Land and have a heart to work hard, pray about coming. “I Believe” is a song that crushes the barriers of ideological differences. The foundation of an eternal righteous plan for the redemption of the whole earth begins with a special covenant to a specific people in a specific land. In the millenniums following this promise men have sought to alter, to distort, and even undo God’s beautiful plan.

This song challenges us to make a stand with the Word of God:

He remembers His covenant forever…the word He commanded for a thousand generation…the covenant He made with Abraham…the oath He swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.” Psalm 105:8-11

Many of the Jewish people obviously understand this eternal promise. We see it in their actions. They have come back to the land the prophets foretold they would return to – again, the evidence of the existence of our Creator and the truth of His Word.

At this moment in history, when the nations unite to discuss the future of the Promised Land, every person is called to make a righteous choice. Today, as we watch and listen to this song ……as we sing it ….as we witness the prophetic word confirmed ….may this be your declaration of faith in an eternal God and an eternal promise. May this song unite the hearts of every Bible believing person – both Jew and Non-Jew – all those longing for the Redemption in Jerusalem.

The second For Zion’s Sake Tour is here! Our purpose for this trip is to raise awareness as to what the truth is about the nation of Israel. This fiery team of young men will be enthusiastically sharing from the Scriptures about the amazing things that God is doing in the land of Israel today.

December 3^rd through December 31^st, Joshua and Nate Waller, Christopher Johnson, Joseph Tradd, Aaron Murphy, Matthew Cey, and Zach Reddekopp will be heading out from Nashville, TN with a message for anyone who will open their door to hear. These are the states that they will be traveling through:

Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas.

Further information will be released next week, but we want to begin planning now. To date, HaYovel harvesters have picked a whopping 240 tons of grapes! Already, last year’s record harvest has been doubled, and the harvest is not over yet!
 

 
The impact of this year is greater than ever, and the farmers struggle to find adequate words to thank our teams for the substantial efforts they are putting forth. When the team moves into a vineyard and cleans an entire row of vines of its grapes in just minutes, it is quite impressive! And in a matter of a few hours ten tons of grapes (or more) are harvested!

Many of the Israeli people who meet the HaYovel teams are amazed and touched by the sacrifices many team members have made to come and volunteer their time to love and serve the heroic farmers in the Heartland of Israel!

Grapes must be picked exactly at their peak in order to get the correct sugar content. The flexible Hayovel harvesters make it easy for the farmers to pick the grapes at the exact right time, which creates a better end product!
 

 
The harvesting teams are many times up very early in the morning, eating breakfast and departing for the vineyards before daybreak. The harvesters take pride in a job well done and trust that the Father in Heaven will be glorified by their efforts!

Just last week, the harvest teams had a record day in which they picked 21 tons of grapes! This is the largest amount the HaYovel teams have ever picked in a single day! The work day started well before daylight and ended after dark. When the harvesters finally came home to a big spaghetti dinner, all were tired out but many wore grins on their faces, proud of the day’s accomplishments.
