What is the Recognize Jerusalem Trip?

During 2017, Israel is celebrating 50 years since the reunification of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. HaYovel is excited to invite you to join us for an experience like none other – the celebration of the miraculous liberation of Israel’s heartland.

jerusalemtemplemount_siThis 2 week experience will include a special celebration of Jerusalem’s liberation, the celebration of Shavuot, (also in Jerusalem), an in-depth tour of Judea and Samaria with local, 5star tour guides, 1-2 days of volunteering in Israel’s agriculture, a tour of 1-2 wineries in Samaria, and a trip to the Knesset in Jerusalem.

This is a packed trip, and one you will not want to miss! It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate this incredible milestone event of the reunification of Jerusalem and Israel’s Heartland.

Who Should Come?

Everyone! We encourage pastors, students, businessmen and women, elders and families to come!

Participants should come prepared for lots of walking, as you will get to see and experience the land first hand and set your feet in the places where the men and women of the Bible stood.

Our Partners

Israel365-WhiteHaYovel is excited to partner with Israel365 and Rabbi Tuly Weisz for the Recognize Jerusalem Trip! You will notice an updated itinerary below, with some incredible items added to the tour.

We are also excited to be working with Bridges for Peace and Israel365 for the Rejoice with Jerusalem event to be held overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem on May 25th!

Packages

We have two land package options (airfare excluded). The only difference in the two packages is in lodging – by choosing the first package, you will be lodged in HaYovel’s volunteer campus facility, and by choosing the second package, you will be lodged in Har Bracha’s guest rooms facility, a small upgrade (but not a hotel).

Lodging will be on Har Bracha (Mount of Blessing), at the HaYovel volunteer campus. Rooms are dormitory style, with campground-style bathrooms, showers, and laundromat.

Single men and women will be housed in dorms with several people to each room on cots (similar to bunk beds). Couples will receive their own room with a mattress or bed, and families will receive 1-2 rooms, depending on family size. Bedding, blankets, pillows and towels, soap and shampoo, and other amenities are NOT provided – you will need to bring your own.

All meals (unless otherwise mentioned in the itinerary) will be at the HaYovel campus, and prepared by HaYovel’s 5-star chef team. Each Shabbat (sabbath) will include a traditional Jewish sabbath meal. All food is biblically clean, but not certified kosher.
